What is a CSA?
Community Supported AgricultureIt is a partnership between growers and consumers in which the bounty and the risks of the farm are shared. Families and individuals support the farm by purchasing shares of the harvest at the beginning of the season. In becoming members, the shareholders agree to assume part of the financial risks inherent in farming. In return, members receive a weekly share of fresh, organically grown vegetables and herbs.
